This role in specific is also something different, and very special. The chosen candidate here will be spending a large amount of their time on one brand in particular. The brand are locally very popular, and like us have big plans for 2021. This role presents a truly unique opportunity to really put your stamp on your work – you would be primarily responsible for various aspects of their online presence and be central as they expand further – it will not only be extremely rewarding with work here published on a nationwide scale, but it will also provide invaluable experience in Social Media Management; allowing the individual to learn/upskill all aspects from planning and strategizing, to launching and managing national campaigns. Not to mention the case study, which will look unbelievable on any CV.

This role has three key focuses:

  • Planning, capturing and delivering eye-catching content

  • Co-ordinating multiple client pages and content plans

  • Developing strategic solutions to client problems 

This role has one key requirement:

  • In-depth knowledge of different social media platforms

 
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop strategic social media plans and content strategies to ensure our client meets their KPIs

  • Continuously improve on existing strategies to ensure maximum ROI for our clients

  • Liaising with clients and communicating client expectations to the team

  • Ensuring the team is executing against the social media strategy laid out by the strategy team

  • Using Asana, our project management tool to manage teams and timelines

  • Communicate progress back to the clients in an effective manner

  • Relationship building— working hard to build a closer, trusting relationship with the client to deliver a first-class client experience

  • Aim to be one step ahead of the client in terms of strategic ideas to help grow their accounts. Work with your team to proactively create new ideas for new projects

  • Strive to take ownership of smaller jobs— managing them independently from brief to execution with minimal oversight from management

  • Crafting detailed job briefs for your team to execute

  • Working with the content team to oversee the execution of all projects, ensuring they are delivered to the client on time and within budget

  • Manage and update the overall marketing calendar for the client on a daily basis to ensure all campaigns are running to schedule and no work is missed

  • Assist in the creation and management of the clients paid social

  • Organise regular review meetings through weekly, monthly, quarterly and project-end reviews. Keep WIP documents up to date, prepare meeting agendas and contact reports

  • Tracking and reporting using Google and Facebook Analytics to provide reports on metrics and continually find ways to improve on those metrics by testing new approaches and formats

  • Occasional basic community management— responding to comments, DMs and proactively nurturing a community of loyal fans

REQUIREMENTS

  • Kindness, patience and optimism

  • A thirst for social media trends

  • Excellent client-facing communication skills

  • Experience developing social media strategies and media planning

  • 2-3 years Social Media/Account Manager experience

  • Highly organised with experience managing multiple creative and editorial production teams

  • Solid understanding of online community building

  • Ability to work fast and smart under pressure, delivering against a set of outcomes within a fixed time frame

  • An understanding of how technology, the arts and pop culture impact advertising and online trends
